Community Guidelines

URIAL is a place for a conversation with someone you happen to meet. Users must follow these rules. Depending on severity and safety needs, URIAL may limit sending, disconnect a chat, record a report, suspend access or ban use.

1. Basic rules

  1. You must be 18 or older.
  2. Treat the other participant as a real person and do not pressure them into unwanted conduct.
  3. If a conversation is not a good fit, end it or move on rather than forcing it to continue.

2. No dating, meetups or off-platform contact exchange

Do not use URIAL for dating, romantic/sexual contact, in-person meetings, commercial sex or compensated dating. Do not send, request or exchange phone numbers, email addresses, LINE, Instagram, X, Discord or other social/messaging accounts or IDs, including attempts to evade filters through alternative formatting.

3. Harmful or illegal conduct

  1. Child sexual exploitation or abuse content, sexualization of minors or solicitation involving minors.
  2. Obscene material, non-consensual sexual content, sexual coercion or harassment.
  3. Threats, discrimination, bullying, stalking, impersonation, fraud or extortion.
  4. Crime facilitation, illegal transactions or other unlawful conduct.
  5. Concrete encouragement, coercion or instruction for suicide or self-harm.
  6. Infringement of copyright, trademark, portrait, privacy, reputation or other rights.

4. Do not send or extract personal information

Do not unnecessarily send a real name, address, school, workplace, phone/email/social handle, precise location, identity document, financial data or credentials. Do not pressure another user to reveal such information or try to identify them from media or conversation clues.

5. Images, video, audio and files

Check for faces, addresses, school/workplace names, IDs, uniforms, mail, license plates or location clues before sending. Do not send content that violates third-party rights, malware, executable files or other dangerous files.

Screenshots and screen recordings cannot be completely prevented. Do not send content that could cause serious harm if saved.

6. Service abuse

Bots, scraping, automated sending, spam, flooding/DoS, bypassing authentication or access controls, exploiting defects or vulnerabilities, accessing another user's session, unauthorized admin access and other disruption are prohibited.

7. Reporting and enforcement

Use report/block if another participant is unsafe or violates the rules. Authorized operators may review relevant information and take measures such as warnings, sending limits, disconnection, pair blocking, suspension, bans or content removal.
