These Terms govern the use of URIAL, an anonymous one-to-one chat service operated by bx design. Please review these Terms together with the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines and Important Notice before using the Service.
1. Scope and agreement
These Terms apply to the website, normal random chat, invite rooms and related URIAL features. By completing the pre-entry consent flow and using the Service, you agree to these Terms and related policies.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older. People under 18 may not use URIAL.
Normal random chat generally does not require account registration.
Do not provide false age information.
You are responsible for the device, network connection and communication costs required to use URIAL.
URIAL does not verify or guarantee another user's real-world identity.
3. Nature of the Service
URIAL randomly connects people who do not know each other for a one-to-one conversation. It is not a dating service and is not intended for arranging romantic, sexual or offline contact or moving a relationship to another service.
URIAL does not provide a public user directory, user search, gender-based matching, friend/follow features or a function to deliberately reconnect with a previous random-chat partner. The same people may nevertheless be matched again by chance.
4. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
use URIAL for dating, sexual contact, commercial sex, compensated dating or arranging an in-person meeting;
send, request or exchange phone numbers, email addresses, social-media accounts, messaging IDs, game IDs or other off-platform contact details;
unnecessarily send or solicit real names, addresses, schools, workplaces, precise location details or other identifying information;
use the Service while under 18 or misrepresent your age;
engage in child sexual exploitation or abuse, obscenity, threats, discrimination, violence, illegal activity, self-harm encouragement or other unlawful/harmful conduct;
infringe copyright, trademark, portrait, privacy, reputation or other third-party rights;
impersonate others, commit fraud, spam, use unauthorized automation, exploit defects, attempt unauthorized access or place unreasonable load on the Service;
evade moderation, safety controls or access restrictions;
otherwise materially undermine the intended purpose or safe operation of URIAL.
5. User content
You are responsible for content you send and must have the rights or permission required to send and process it. Rights in your content do not transfer to URIAL merely because you use the Service.
You authorize technical storage, copying, conversion, analysis, display and processing of your content only to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the Service, deliver content to the other participant, translate content, operate safety and security functions, investigate incidents, enforce rules and comply with law.
6. Safety operations and review
URIAL is not intended to be continuously read by human operators. When reasonably necessary for reports, abuse prevention, rule enforcement, security, troubleshooting, legal compliance or similar operational needs, authorized operators may review relevant stored conversations, media and logs to the extent necessary.
URIAL may limit sending, disconnect a chat, issue warnings, create report records, pair-block users, temporarily suspend access, ban access or remove content. See the Important Notice and Privacy Policy for data handling details.
7. External services
URIAL may use external providers for translation, approximate IP geolocation, mapping, infrastructure and other functions. If you enable translation, message text selected for translation is sent to Google Cloud Translation API. Separate notice is shown when translation is first enabled.
8. Invite rooms
Invite rooms can be entered by users who have the issued URL and password or other access information. Unlike normal random chat, an invite room and its history may remain until the room is administratively deleted and earlier history may be displayed when an authenticated participant returns.
9. Changes, suspension and termination
URIAL may change, suspend or discontinue some or all of the Service for maintenance, security, legal compliance, improvement or other reasonable reasons. Material changes to these Terms will be announced through the Service, and renewed consent may be requested where appropriate.
10. Liability
URIAL does not verify the truth of user statements or guarantee the content or outcome of conversations. Availability may be affected by network conditions, browsers, external service outages and other circumstances.
Any limitation of liability in these Terms does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, including where required by applicable law.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The parties should first attempt to resolve disputes in good faith. To the extent permitted by law, the Yokohama District Court or Yokohama Summary Court will be the agreed court of first instance.
